No I haven't, I think I'm avoiding it.
If I know I could see them again, and see them often and have visiting rights, then maybe the decission to re-home them would be much easier and less traumatic

I'm sorry to be so blunt

True Love doesn't come round often, sometimes you have to make allowances for that person.

I would have no hesitation if someone I loved was allergic to my much loved cats, I would chose them over my gorgeous cats everytime.

If it was your son who suddenly became allergic to your (girls) cats would you even think twice.

Medication can combat this problem to an extent but at a price, you are never going to feel 100% well.

Are you still debating about keeping the cats or maybe is it your relationship that your not 100% sure about.

If he had a problem with your son this would be a totally different situation but when it comes down to it they are your pets.

You often find people don't like things that they are allergic to, its your body telling you to stay away.

I hope this doesn't cause offence, I'm trying to help you put this into prospective

True Love works both ways, giving ultimatums and making someone give up something they love and causing them grief is not True Love.

Would you make someone you truly loved, do something you knew would cause them grief and turmoil?
