The Bengals, that are looking for new homes, were all much loved. They were brought up with a large dog & lived in a house, with access to an outside run. Over the last eighteen months, they've had little contact with anyone but their breeder - but this didn't stop the majority of them being pleased to meet the CPL representative who collected them.

Most of them are friendly & bombproof - hardly phazed by anything at all; though a few are shyer than the others & will need a little patience. They all deserve wonderful new homes with people who will appreciate them.

They are looking for new homes because their breeder (that would be me) is no longer able to care properly for them due to her illhealth. I feel terrible about this but have been reassured that every effort will be made to find them understanding, loving new homes. I've also been reassured that they will not be suffering as much as I am - I miss them. They are all, in their own way, especial cats & deserve the best.

If anyone here does go along to see them, please will they post to let me know how they are? If anyone on here adopts & would like to know a little more about them, then please contact me.

Welcome to the forum...you have not failed! :cry:

Hopefully it won't be long before they have all settled with new families & you have been very brave to give them up for adoption instead of struggling on & not being able to manage.
I wish you all the best & hope that your health improves for you soon & that maybe some of the new owners will keep in touch to let you know how your babies are doing.

Gosh I have to say I hate your log on name and I really hope you don't feel that you have failed !

We all go through life making decisions that we think are best at the time and no-one can predict what will happen in the future, ill health is not something we even factor in, so please don't feel you've failed.
I''m sure the life your kitties have had has been good so far and its a brave and hard decision to have to make, to give them up - its an obvious sign of your love and committment to them that you are prepared to put your feelings aside and consider whats best and right for them. Fingers crossed that they all find lovely forever homes xx

I haven't heard any more news on what's happening with the Bengals in Devon.

It's true, there are definately two there who will need a patient new home, though I'm hoping that they will respond quickly if the right person comes along. There are others though, who adore human contact, demand affection & are definate lap cats. I imagine that the strange environment is not allowing them to show their true personalities - plus they've been split up, when they are used to living altogether.

I'm hoping that people will look beyond this - I did send them off with short notes on their personalities, which will hopefully help.

Has anyone any news on them? I'm hoping that they will be finding their forever homes very soon.

PS They had been living in a house with access to an outside run, from the house - they are not currently used to being outside cats.
