My Bengal is a handsome boy with the typical traits. Likes to climb to high places, play with water and vocalize at 4AM. He has been to the vet as needed. I bought him, he was only 10 weeks old, from a woman who needed him out of her house before Christmas, her son was allergic. Upon his 1st visit, the vet noticed a heart murmur. I had a a cardiologist do testing and he was prescribed meds. He also developed crystals in his urine and was treated and put on a CD diet. He is currently not taking any meds and eats Uretic cat food. He is not a wet food fan.

I would like to rehome him as I have grown exhausted and frustrated by his infrequent/sporadic urination on a bed. He uses one of the 2 cats litter boxes regularly, but whenever he smells another animal on me or my husband or a guest, he will go empty his bladder on either a bed, dog bed or chair. He has also decided that since he can not get in my bedroom he will yowl at 4 AM. I need to pet sit 2 dogs while my daughter recuperates from surgery & the thought of him urinating inappropriately is too much.

I plan on bringing him in for a vet visit this week to rule out a redevelopment of crystals. Even if he does or doesn't need to be treated, I feel this is not going to be a good situation. We have family & friends who visit often & they have pets. I hate to have to cage him, he needs to be able to run around. I even built him an outdoor catio to play in during the nicer weather.
He can be very loving and seek your attention, especially for petting/tapping on his back. He is still young and hopefully has many years ahead of him.

I will release all of his records when he is adopted. I am hoping someone with a different home environment can give him a good home. I do not want him to be tossed around from home to home. I will keep him until a home has been found. I would never subject him to a shelter.
