Hello,
We love our 2.5 year old male bengal, but i feel he would be happier somewhere else. He has alway been an outside cat who has enjoyed visiting neighbors, making friends with other cats, playing with neighbors dogs, and catching the occasional chipmunk, but we have moved to a new neighborhood where we can no longer let him outdoors. He has not tolerated the change at all, and spends the entire day and night yowling to go outside, scratching at doors, windows, pulling on curtains. he is absolutely miserable and it is so hard to see him feel so trapped. I know he will be happier somewhere he can roam free outdoors again.
He is very affectionate, sleeps on your bed, loves other cats and dogs (we have both). He gets lots of compliments from the vet for being a uniquely docile bengal. The only thing he doesn't like is being carried from room to room.
He is also GREAT with kids - he literally plays tag with my 3 year old niece. i think he likes kids better than adults.
He is extremely vocal - very loud and meows a lot. some people find him annoying - some love chatting back with him. he will literally just plop himself down int he middle of a room and holler. we like to think he is channeling Pavarotti.
