Hello all

My partner was a member of this forum and received much friendly advice re our two Bengals Arnie and Sabrina.

Linda has moved South for work and we are no longer a couple. I 'inherited' the 'Bengies' (she had problems with finding a cat friendly landlord) and have realised over the past few months that I'm cat allergic to them

Arnie is about 4 yrs of age and Sabrina (not his mother but they are VERY close) is about 11. Their certificates are 'somewhere'. They are both neutered.

Loverly temperament both, they use litter trays and roam freely here in a very rural part of Cumbria.

I would ask £50 to my local animal charity as a sign of commitment.

Ohhh! So sorry to hear, but think you're doing a great thing! I actually would take them, but San Francisco is a bit far and not remotely rural:( I wish you the best of luck. I'm curious about the development of your allergies, though... I'm sure you've already gone over it all, like the possibility of them bringing something in on their fur from the outdoors. I'd never say such a thing - because you'd likely have experienced it in the past - but here in non-rural S.F., this year we have a number of odd things from weeds to ugly flowers we never planted (and ahh! Spiders everywhere!), that we've never had or seen in 13 year living here in our little rose garden/yard! Same for the neighbors. Odd and annoying! The weather has been out of character to say the least, but this is bizarre! My Bengal doesn't go out, but my upstairs neighbor's cats do and have had their own allergic reactions - again, for the first time. I'm sure you'd know. Had to mention. Again, best of luck!
Hey, if you can think of a way for me to move to London, I'll take them:) I'm serious - at least about the move:)
