completely agree with you, I would happily pay for him to be neutured first. However , the other posters live closer by then me , one person living in the same city that he is based at the moment . I was just offering a forever home on the basis that I love cats , all cats but have fallen in love with bengals. I rehomed my bengal boy Enzo on the basis that someone had got him because he was "pretty" not realising the commitment and fact that bengals do need more input than some other cats. He is a wee chatterbox , at 3 in the morning it gets hard ! ....and they gave him up for rehomming because they both worked 12 hours shifts , left him alone for 12 hours during the day with a few toys and thought that would stimulate him enough ....but wondered why he sat up all night trying to talk to them .....I am sure neither , I or the others were being deceptive . If he can get a home closer to home thats fine by me , I wouldnt want him to be traumatised with a long car journey if he didnt have to be.

I have sent a Pm to the original poster as I would love to offer him a home.

If neutering before he leaves isn't possible I am more than happy for his papers to be withheld until I have proven he has been neutered and I'd also post it on here to reassure everyone else it had been done. Alternatively I would be happy to pay for it before he goes or donate the money to CPL etc if it is done via voucher.

I just hope my home could be classed as suitable

Sorry, I'm not neglecting the thread, just haven't been able to get good internet access whilst being abroad(hopefully sorted that now though!).

Thank you so much to all who enquired but I thankfully have now got Calcifer a home sorted, thankfully with a family member who has agreed to look after him until I can get my health and other things and well, just my life in general back on the right track! So eventually Calcifer will be back home with me, albeit a year or so down the line.

As for the neutering, I have a new job and he will be neutered at my place of work the week that I return :)

xx

Really glad you are getting things sorted and will still be able to see your boy with the possibilty of living with him again.

Delighted that you are able to keep your boy with you and in contact with you , until everything gets sorted out. As for everything else hope all your problems work themselves out. Life has a funny way of working out sometimes :D
