Rehoming of our 2 Bengal Cats

I'm sorry about your situation. I work in a local authority and have just survived the cuts but only by the skin of my teeth and may not survive the next round. I really hope you're able to find new employment and that your new baby will bring joy into such a difficult situation.

I can't personally help with the re-homing (I already have 4 cats) but I hope you can work out an arrangement that you're comfortable with. Have you been back to the boys' breeder to see if they can help?

And yes, photos would be good

Hi LovemyDiego,

Zion (the brown spotted one) has a loving, affectionate personality. Hes very playful and nosy! He actually thinks he's human. He is our son's best friend. He plays with him on the floor and follows him around where ever he goes. He has never shown any signs of attacking him and even when our son plays with him (patting his fur!) he loves it. Since we've had both our Bengals they have never shown signs of hostility towards us or anyone.

Sonny (our huge silver one) is an outdoor cat for sure. He roams all night (we have an outdoor kennel for him) and he sleeps on his cat tree hammock all day. He is the silent, gentle type. He doesnt need much affection at all. He comes to you when he wants his tummy smoothed and then he's happy to be in his own company. He loves the outdoors and we could never keep him in (he would go insane). Where as Zion will only go in the garden & play and then come in (we have to leave the door open for him as if we shut it he doesn't like it and wants to come back in).Sonny does not bother with our son, if our son goes near him he'll just run away or jump up on the nearest surface.

I agree with your situation. It wouldn't be fair to have an indoor cat/leash and then have an outdoor cat like Sonny. Thank you for your interest though and best wishes.

Hi, I saw the pictures and info about your lovely cats. The economy is tough everywhere and my heart goes out to you. We have 3 Bengals and I may be able to persuade my husband to take another but he's unlikely to agree to two. My husband loves the cats but has a mild allergy which we have kept under control with the use of air purifiers. We have a brown spotted Bengal boy who is very loud and quite skittish, a white Burmese girl who thinks she's above the others in terms of pecking order, and a very docile Blue Bengal boy who wouldn't hurt a fly. They all live together harmoniously and are all under two years old, so I think they would accept another member of the pack. I realise that you want to keep your two together and I'm really sorry I cannot offer this. Also I would have to convince my husband as I already said, but first I wanted to put out feelers and ask whether you would consider splitting your two lovely kitties up? If you'd rather hold out for someone who can take the two that's fine but please keep us in mind as a possible reserve for one of them.
I also have 3 girls of 16, 13 and 9 who dote on the cats and a huge back garden that backs on to woods.

I live in Newport and looking for another cat to keep my female cat of one year company. We are very interested in giving your make cat a new home. The female cat i have now is not a bengal and she has been spade so have no intentions of trying to breed.

I was looking at rehoming a female but think she might be a bit to fiesty with a female about. She is fine with male cats.

If you are still looking to rehome your male and have not already found him a home. Please feel free to contact me as we can re home him asap if need be
