Hi
A really good friend of ours is unfortunately trying to find a new home for Grace - a 7yr old black female moggy. Grace was our friend's wife's cat (who unfortunately passed away a couple of months ago). As Grace has a few problems, our friend feels that Grace would benefit from a new home.
Grace has some issues with going outside (she won't go) and may have underlying behavioural issues. No medical problems known. She has been with our friends wife since a young cat and has never really been outside.
As our friend has 2 dogs and another cat who does go outside, and is looking to return to full time work, he feels that he cannot give Grace the time and attention she needs. I personally feel that Grace would be better as an only cat with someone (older couple - not with young children as Grace has not lived with children) who has the time, patience and love that she deserves. As Grace and Sidney (the other cat) are not particularly close, rehoming Grace on her own is not an issue.
She is not aggressive at all, but will react if stressed as all cats will. If I didn't have my 4, we would have given her a home but this is not an option for us.
Please PM me if you would like to know any more or if you, or someone you know, may be to offer her a lovely new home where she will be loved for the rest of her life.
I do have some photo's which I am happy to send to anyone who is interested. These were taken today when we were down with them. Our friend is quite happy for any potential owner to come and meet her first.
Grace and the rest of the family are in Bath (UK).
