Corona has now found his forever home with Helen and her family. Brilliant.

Just had a call from Connie at Zawadi Bengals.

Cats Protection, Essex, telephoned her to say that one of her Bengals, called Corona, had been handed in to be put to sleep. The person handing in the boy also gave over all his paperwork which included the original contract between the buyer and Connie. Because it states that if the cat requires rehoming at any time, to contact Connie, the vet at Cats Protection took Corona through to their back room and called Connie. He certainly was not putting down this fine, healthy lad and knew from the paperwork that Connie was an ethical breeder and would want to know the situation.

The original purchaser of Corona was now in a new relationship. It was the new partner that took Corona in to be put to sleep. Heartless creep.

Connie and the Cats Protection Vet will ensure that Corona is up-to-date with all his vaccinations, etc.

If you could give this beautiful, healthy, 8 year old, marble bengal boy, Corona, a loving home, please call Connie on 01793 487756. A donation to Cats Protection Essex would be appreciated.

How horrible

I'd like to put him to sleep, nasty little man!

Good on the vet for being responsible!

Can't help but hopefully someone can.

Wow. I hope the girlfriend slings the bloke out on the street for that. How on earth could she let him do such a thing? How could he even consider doing it?!

The mind boggles.

So glad the cat has found a new home though.

So glad to hear that this boy has found his new home and he'll be so much better being away from such a horrible couple.

Anybody who can let a new partner get rid of their pet is just disgusting and doesn't deserve to have a pet.

Love me, love my cats :D

All is well that went well!

Though I think it's amusing how everyone assumed the awful person to be male. :? I don't think the original post was specific :-)

You're quite right Ronan. We are not sure if new partner is male or female

My good god WHY would she let someone take her 8year old baby and, well, basically kill him or no reason?? :x

dont even know what to say, why would you be with someone who would do this?? What did he say 'Hi my put cat to sleep please vet?'

So glad that the vet looked through the paperwork and didnt do this, rather put that bloke down, nasty evil person :(
