Hi all, I have been an avid reader of this forum for the last few years. However, the time has come where I am no longer able to take care of Suki.

She is 3 next month, 1st June. She is our only pet at home and she spends a lot of time by herself. Suki loves attention and when Im home, she refuses to leave my lap. The problem is no one is hardly ever home and she doesn't get the attention she deserves and needs. Suki has been brought up as a house cat and we haven't let her outside unattended. Although she does love going outside and bolts out of the door when I'm outside. She has shown a lot of interest in other cats when in our garden or when watching them through the back door, so thats a positive.

I hope to find someone who already has at least one cat in their household, so she can have a companion. And I hope the home she goes to will be able to give her the love, time and attention she needs.

We are based in Enfield, North London.

Anyway, here's some photos of her..

Hi, thanks for your reply. No, she is yet to find a new home.

Suki was raised with a lot of cats and we didn't bring her home until she was 14 weeks old, so she has the experience of being in the company of other cats.

When shes in the back garden and sees a cat she does show a lot of interest. She approaches quite cautiously and sniffs around and she has never shows any signs of aggression or aggravation.

Regards.

We will ring the vet tomorrow to see if she can see any problems. Has anyone else on here owned a kitten and then rehomed an older cat? Could this cause problems? And with the fact that Olly is only 4 months and not due to be neutered for another 6 weeks.

Thanks

Hi I have sent you a couple of P.M's but haven't heard back. Don't know if you received the messages or if you have changed your mind but it would be nice to know if you have resolved the situation for little Suki.

Best Wishes

Annie

Hello,

Suki is once again available after an unsuccessful rehoming attempt and I have responded to a few PMs.

Hi, Our 2 yr old male Bengal recently lost his companion to the road and is very lonely. We are now keeping him as an indoor cat and feel he would benefit from a new companion as he has never lived by himself. Could you tell me more about Suki if she is still available? We are based in Amersham, Bucks. Thanks. Jane.

Hi there - I have only just found this site, so it might be a bit of a long shot, but I wondered whether Suki is still available.

Up until a couple of weeks ago we were a 2 cat household, but our 20 year old girl had developed the early stages of kidney failure, and our vet advised to save such an old girl from undue suffering in the coming months, the kindest thing would be to euthanise her, which with much regret we did.

Our remaining 14 year old boy is now rather lonely without his companion, hence we are now looking to offer a forever home to another Bengal.

We have kept Bengals for 15 years and have always re-homed. We have always lavished our cats with lots of love and attention, so you would know that Suki is in a loving home.

We are in Kent, so it would be no problem to get to Enfield, and if we were to re-home Suki, would be available to collect most weekends or weeknights.

I hope to hear back from you.

Regards,

Jody Townsend.
