I rehomed Simba from this site a few months ago. He is AMAZING! Great fun, and full of character.
But I am worried he is lonely , and desperately want and need advice? Should I find him a friend? He is an indoor cat, with lots of toys which I vary. I am home at lunchtime and in the evening, but I really think he needs a companion. And would like to know the best way to introduce a friend, be it, young? Same breed? He is def an alpha male! I would really appreciate your thoughts and advice please?

I think you probably already know that most people will suggest you get him a playmate Provided he's completely settled in with you and is feeling secure, then now should be a good time to think about it. Personally I think introducing a young cat/kitten is easier than an adult but nothing's ever certain with cats. I have a mix of Bengals and moggies but the moggies are definitely not in the same league as the Bengals in terms of behaviour and activity levels so I would tend to favour another Bengal or another breed with similar activity levels.

Thank you, yes I have really been thinking that a friend is the best option. I am a groom so don't have the money to buy a bengal kitten/young cat. Only the on going money for day-to-day care. So I will be looking at a moggy kitten. Would a female be better? He is really settled, and very happy with us. But I think even the short time he is left muct be a lonely one, but there is a fast country road about 50 metres away that one of the yard cats was run over. So I don't want him to go out.

Hi I have a bengal boy and i got him a moggy friend too when he was just 6 months old, they spent a week or so hissing at each other but they love each other now. I got a female, the only thing i would say is that even though they both have been neutered, our bengal boy Boo gets a little frisky at times and can try and pin her down and be a little rough, i just have to make sure i keep an eye on him with my water sprayer . Maybe a another boy would be a better choice. But i would defiantly recommend getting him a friend, however much you spend playing with them they always make up there own games and keep each other amused for hours. My moggy even now copies him and talks quite alot and is just as mad as him, she is a bengal in disguise im sure!! I got her from woodgreen and they were really good at matching her to a Bengal breed they new that i would need something quite active and mischievous and they got it spot on, they are the perfect pair x x
