Can't find the pics I'd seen (perhaps in a book...) but for eg. here's a Bengal that's nice but not awsome (recently bred but obviously by a breeder who didn't have great quality cats) :

I see, still lovely looking with lots of spots but I do prefer the paler backgrounds with no ticking.
