This reminds of some show on Animal Planet that went on a bashing spree regarding those "wild" bengals.

*sigh*

It is sad when organizations like that try to pass off that sort of information as the truth when they may not have ever owned a bengal, or have only come across the stressed ones in rescue situations.

When Yuki was going through all sorts of treatments for his leukemia (blood transfusions, chemo, etc.) they told me they were scared of him at first because he was SO loud.

BUT, they quickly learned that it was all for show. He never once tried to bite or scratch them at all.

People don't seem to understand that bengals looking wild does NOT equal a wild temperament, and have no clue that they're actually bred for gentle personalities!

Their loss.

With my new kitten I've already noticed that he is also really careful in how he plays. He bites and clings like a normal kitten, but never hard at all.
