Oh god Kimberley I'm so sorry! Other than taking a walk around the local area and calling her (take a cat carrier with you) I can't think of anything else I'll be keeping everything crossed, you must be sick with worry.

I just don't know what to do, if she is outside she'll be wet and frightened

I've put her on gumtree in the lost pet section but it takes a few hours to appear there. I also check the pets for sale section every ten minutes in case she pops up there.

hope she has hidden somewhere near. Don't give up looking.

I'm off to look again, it's getting dark so maybe she'll come out of hiding.

Oh Hell, Hope she's alright...Cats will think of self preservation so it's possible she's somewhere near but might be trapped somewhere. You don't have another dog to sniff her out have you?

Does she know the sound of her food rattling or anything? You could try shaking her food box/bag outside and see if she comes running.
I would keep trying neighbours asking them to check their sheds, garages and car bonnets etc and go out calling for her regularly.

If it starts to drag on, our local BBC radio station has a lost pets item each day. Might be the same where you are?

What's the landscape like near you? Are you on a housing estate? Or are you secluded, or near a busy road? That might affect where she might run to, if she's been scared by something.

Don't be afraid to knock on plenty of doors. They'll understand perfectly I'm sure.

Oh Kimberley, I'm sorry but don't give up - she's probably hiding somewhere. Keep calling her and rattling her food and make sure you leave a window or a door open so that she can get back in.

Try I know its hard, to think like a cat, call friends to come and help, get the neighbours out, shake the food, take Oscar if he mews maybe she will come to him, is he harness trained if not put him in the carrier. My prayers are with you and mystie

Years ago I had a young moggie who got out and we were out all day until late at night looking for her. To cut a long story short her sister was making a lot of noise at 5am the following day and when i looked their she was cold and hungry. So chin up and try to stay positive. keep in touch sweetie. xxx
