Aww thanks so much for sharing this story. I am sorry about your mom. When I ended up needing to stay in Addis for 3 weeks longer than planned I couldn't believe the kindness people showed me. My taxi driver gave me his cell phone to use the entire time. Can you imagine someone here GIVING you there cell phone.. a perfect stranger.

Yes this trip opened my eyes to a world I never knew and yes it was sad to see people trying to survive on so little but like you said the people were so happy, full of light and love. It was amazing :D

Thanks everyone! People always tell how how lucky Gabbi is, but we feel like we are the lucky ones for the whole experience, not to mention my beautiful daughter. I also have three biological children (boys).. they are wonderful too!

I too shed tears watching the video, it was well thought of and of course they were tears of joy for both your family and Gabriella. What a beautiful name too. I bet she will turn heads when she gets older. It was a marvellous gift your gave her.
