We don't do holidays either!

If we do ever manage to get away on a short break, in between work commitments, we know a couple of people who would pop in, feed, and make a fuss of them for us.

If we were to go on a long holiday, i would, without a doubt, get a pet-sitter!

So far we went away 3 times : first and third time we left them at OH's work (in a big box, I don't really like it but at least I know they'll be okay as if there's a problem, they'll take care of it immediatly...) and the second time we left them to OH parents, where they were in the bedroom during the day and were allowed the rest of the house in the evening (because OH brother is not very careful with doors ).

I'd like to have a nice neighbour willing to take care of them at home, but didn't find one yet . If we move in a house, I think it will be easier .

we havent been away whilst having the Bengals, but in the past with our moggies, when we just had one moggie, my nana would take care of her, even though she is scared of cats, she sort of got used to her. when we had two cats, one was a stray we took in, our first one went to my nana whilst (sounds cruel) the stray stayed outside, i got a neighbour to come over and feed the cat on the doorstep everyday, when we got home the cat was still there and was healthy, so that worked well.

in the future, if we do decide to go away i will get my daughter to come round to sit with the cats, she wont mind doing that. so i expect we're sorted there.
