well just got back from a working holiday in Italy, spent my time climbing volcanoes cllecting samples, was lovely, not with the OH though, was working with a realy annoying girl from the university, but who cares with that view!

dont know if ill be off again, but it would be great getting some alone time with the oh, maybe camping nearby in the peaks for a long weekend.

on that topic, my parents at one point had a burmese cat who insisted on going everywhere with them, to the point of sitting in my dads office at work all day lol, she would even even go camping with them, (on a harness and lead though :)) stay in the tent at night, and then walk with them in the day. ill have to suggest it to khan lol,

I went to Ethiopia in November to visit a charity project so can't afford to go anywhere this year. Fortunately I live in a fantastic part of the country so I'll probably just take some time off work and go out walking round the lakes.

We had our holiday to Antigua in January BC (before cats!). Now that we've got the fur babies I don't want to go away even for a night because I'd miss them too much.

Well, I just got back from Germany, so I had my summer vacation already. Going to France again in a couple of weeks, but that's for a conference and not vacation.

no holiday for me, too busy being a bengal mum with two more litters due soon :D

i went to egypt a few years ago, did a couple of days in cairo then down to hurghada on the red sea for a week. the fish are fantastic! you can stand still in a foot deep of sea & have them swimming all around your feet! even better if you venture further out with a snorkel

i also climbed a volcano in italy :D it was many years ago with the school & i can't remember much, it was vesuvius. we also went to pompeii, that was really interesting.

i'd love to get away somewhere nice & hot, especially with this crummy summer we're having in the U.K  but given a choice of that or the cats...the cats win every time!

Im just having a cheap getaway to Lanzarote in August, we have our main holiday in November and hope to go somewhere far far away! the boys are staying with my mum and dad in August (who have never had bengals) They have been warned!! I think Kimba and Alaska will love it - we did a trial stopover for a night with them and it was the first time they have seen stairs as we live in an apartment. When we got back home the next day, Kimba kept sitting in his carrier and meowing as if to say 'take me back to grannies!' let the antics begin!
