Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and also a new mummy to two bengal kittens wanted to post an introduction but everytime I try to upload a photo it tells me that the size is too big ! Any ideas how I can get around this ?

I don't post from an iPhone, but I do know that when I email myself a photo from my photo library, it asks the size I want to send. (Small, Medium, Large, or Actual). The size limit for this forum is 256k so, you might want to email yourself the photo as a small size and then send it up here.

Maybe Brian -- who is an expert in this, will come on and give you more information.

I too have this issue, haven't been able to post pics d/t being computer tarded. But I have an I phone. Might try sending as suggested in the earlier post. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can also use a free online picture resized, you upload pic and set 256k as max size and then download the resized file :)

If you upload to a half decent image host, for example www.imgbb.com you don't have to resize your photos and lose quality.

All you do upload into your albums, select what you want to post here, and grab thumbnail links to include within your post.

These thumbnailed images won't be limited by the forums data or size requirements as they won't be hosted here, what you see here is grabbed from the host, using their bandwidth instead of the forums. If people want to see the full image, they simply click on it and it'll load in a new window directly to the host site.
