This one is a bit off topic, because it is about my mum's gorgeous moggie, Basil, rather than bengals...
At the start of the month Basil started being ill and has been that way up until this last weekend. He had signs of an infection, was coughing, had problems eating and was sneezing/choking. The vets sedated him, checked him out, found nothing, except that he had really bad breath.
Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds were given, boosting him for a couple of days, then it was back downhill with him being a decidedly sick cat.
On Saturday he was coughing, and sneezing up a lot of blood and snot, then something started coming out of his nose! Eventually, a piece of grass, about 4 inches long makes its way out. 2 days later he is *much* improved and pretty much back to his old self.
I'd never imagine that this could happen and be so injurious to a cat - has anyone else herard of/experienced this ?
