I'm sorry to hear about your family. I will keep you in my thoughts, Does he has congestive heart failure? My father has congestive heart failure and has to take meds to help keep the fluid from building up around his heart. When he comes home hopefully he will come home with some good information on how to cut down on the possible fluid building up around his heart. Salt is a big factor when it comes to this sort of thing. I hope your father in law is getting better and returns home soon.

Thanks everyone. They sent him home today, but we still don't know why it happend. He is very sore and happy to be home. They are going to send the fluid they removed from him to labs to run more test...
