I was very lucky this weekend - i had the experience of a lifetime on Sunday - as an early birthday treat i got to feed a 40 stone tiger and his slightly smaller friend a snack (about 3/4 chickens worth of meat)!!

What a fabulous day...i'm still in shock at how amazing it was - it's certainly something i will remember forever. :D

The place - Paradise wildlife park in Broxbourne.

Here's some pics from the day - hope you like. 8)

WOW! Talk about up close and personal, hope you have a great Birthday!!

The pictures are fantastic - and I thought my cats had big feet lol. Such a shame Tigers are getting rarer in the wild.

What an amazing birthday pressie, once in a lifetime chance to get so close.

Fantastic photos too, I'd be framing them and hanging them on my wall.

WOW. I'm so jealous. (I keep telling DH that I'd love it if our boys grew to the size of a small tiger - I love big cats! He, however, tells me it'd be too expensive to feed them if they did :( )

A few years ago, we were fortunate enough to meet spend around 30 minutes with the tiger cub at Paradise Wildlife Park. We went twice, the first time when Rocky (the male cub) was around 4 months old and again when he was a year old. The difference in size and playfulness was amazing. All he wanted to do was play just like any other cat (only much bigger!).

Wow, how amazing - i can't imagine Rocky as a cub - he is now a massive hulk of pure muscle - 10 years old and soooo huge!! :D

Wow, you're a brave lady letting a tiger lick chicken from your hands! I lose fingers when I'm feeding my foster fatties treats :D
