The new episodes were pretty fun. In the first one, those two twitter-people were total jerks. Taking so much pleasure in publicly trashing their cat. It was pretty sad actually that the best toy their siamese cat has to play with is a poo that he pulled out of the litterbox :rolleyes:

And then bellyaching about his scratching without offering any scratching posts. I'm mean c'mon, it's almost not even credible that two people could be that stupid.

The second one is pretty neat, the girl really cared about her cat and they worked through those socialization issues.

Oh dear -- not sure I can watch the new episodes. Clearly when someone is not taking care of their cat properly, it kills me inside. Although I do feel so much of the show is staged. And what we see is not really what's there. At least I can mute and turn my head! I hope to watch today.

I watched the new episodes last night... I dunno, they weren't that great. In one, the parents of two very young girls called Jackson to help them with their "Devil Cat" against the threat of having to rehome him, and it turned out that one of the kids was pretty badly abusing the cat. It was cool seeing Jackson standing up for the cat, and putting all the blame right where it belonged, and saying "yea, fix it or you really SHOULD rehome the cat, but not because of any fault of the cats! But because you guys suck as cat owners!". Although I didn't completely buy the apparent "miraculous turnaround" at the end.

The other one was just weird. A munchkin cat that kept licking everyone.

Next week's looks fun. Another one of those episodes where the cat owners are complete lunatics and dress up their cats and treat them like babies, then wonders why the cat has behavioral issues :lol:

I was so mad at the couple with the kids :evil:

. They just let the little girl keep torturing the cats even after Jackson told them not to. I'm glad he finally got the kid to behave but I wonder how long it lasted :rolleyes:

For some reason, this year, I can see the phony-ness in the episodes. I can sense the director telling those little girls to run in the room like wild animals. I'm not loving the whole "let's find celebrities with cats from hell" as I think there is a lot of acting going on. I adore seeing the kitties on the show. I'd happily take a cat who licks me all the time. Raiden is very selective with his kitty kisses. I will continue to watch the show, but hope for some improvement.

I agree about the "celebrities" it does seem like they're trying way too hard. Hopefully there will be more real people and fewer actors.

Hmm, maybe we need to let Jackson know that we aren't as pumped up about the show now. I doubt the Animal Planet gets extremely high ratings and they only do a few new shows a season of My Cat From Hell. I've only been watching it a few years, but this season has not been as enjoyable to me and I don't know if it's that I've read Jackson's books, follow him on Facebook and Twitter, visit his website frequently -- it's just that I can almost predict what is going to be said on the show and what is going to happen. The older shows were so much better.

It's pretty funny how when Jackson comes back to the home to see how the cat is progressing and asks, "So how has Fluffy been doing the past few weeks?" and they all stare back and forth not saying anything for a long time before answering. It reminds me of the show The Bachelor, lol. That's reality show drama.

Yeah it's gotten very fake, it's definitely not as good as it used to be. I'm going to head over and post on the show's FaceBook.

Not sure I agree with you Fenstar! Jackson is making more money off his books and toys than his Spirit Essences line! I received a catalog yesterday from Doctors Foster and Smith and was amazed at the number of medications they sell. Sometimes a holistic approach is better. You seemed to have researched some of the ingredients in the products -- but I'm pretty sure if I were having some type of behavioral problem with Raiden, I would not hesitate to try one of Jackson's products. I believe he cares much more about pets than that veterinarian who killed the cat with a bow and arrow.

Hope to watch last night's My Cat From Hell in a little while.
