F6 bengal coat

Hello im needing some advice. Im picking up my first bengal kitten on Saturday :D she is 16 weeks old and was just wondering if any else on here has a f6 one and could tell me if there coat is silky and soft like a bengal coat usually is? My friend has an f2 and his coat is lovely just wasn't sure cause my bengal is an f6 it will still be nice and silky soft. Thank you for reading. Hope to hear from some other bengal lovers soon

Hi all depends on the cats genes really rather then the generation of the cat - have you got any photos of your cat you could post? :smile:

Mine is an F9 and has the softest fur I've ever felt.

ah lovely girl - she will have a soft silky coat I think looking at her. She doesn't look ticked at all

My Yuki is actually an f6 as well!! She has always had the softest, silkiest fur I've ever felt. We brought her home when she was 12 weeks old and she has been covered in glitter, from head to toe, since the day we brought her home. Here's a picture of her now, at almost 10 months old.

How exciting. I wouldn't worry, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I don't recall but I think mine are at least F6 and their fur is really special. Nothing like any other cat I've ever had. My first visit to the vet, the vet took one look at Gaga, put his hand on her head, and called his vet techs/interns in and had them all pet Gaga and feel her fur (which she enjoyed). Lots of surprised and impressed exclamations all around. It really is impressive and very different.

Thank you for your replys :) thought the f was really importent but really its not looking at how beautiful your cats are. Im so excited to pick her up :)

She is stunning! :D A F6 isn't really called a F6 as after F3 its a SBT, a standard pet Bengal :)

But I have had 'F5' to Fmillion lol :lol:

and they have all felt soft and silky to me!! :D :D
