Tomorrow I get one of my wisdom teeth out and absoutely dreading it I haven't been to a Dentist in 15 years and only ended up going to one after ending up in A&E on Boxing Day because it broke and had an infection :(

OUCH!

will be thinking of you, & once the pain wears off it won't hurt anymore as the offending tooth will be gone! twill be worth it.

I hope so! The thing I am most worried about is the noise it will make when they pull it out, I heard it goes crack :(

Also worried that the pain I've had in the other teeth isn't related and that I'll still have problems afterwards.

you should be put to sleep when they do it. Sooo much easy that way. I was asleep the whole time. No way I would have been able to do it awake. Good Luck and feel better. It will feel sooo much better in the next few days.

I'm glad they aren't putting me to sleep I have a massive fear of that!

Hopefully it will be over quickly then I can go home and feel sorry for myself and get cuddles off OH and the Kitties

Hey you will be fine hun,
they will numb your gum with gel then a couple of tiny needles, you hardly feel it- seriously..
then the dentist will push down hard- not pull..
it will come out whole, 9.5 time out of ten so chill ...
it will all be over in no time..
they used to say rinse with a salt mouthwash but now they just leave the 'hole' to clot..
dont get cold in it though, try & stay warm for a day or two..
also take a paracetomol before you go..

Ive had all 4 out..
I just looked like Orvil for a day or two..

Awww thanks for asking Hun :)

Well I freaked out a bit at the beginning through fear and nerves LOL but the Dentist and Nurse were so lovely and they let OH stay with me too. The injection on the outside was fine didn't feel a thing as she had used gel to numb it. The inside injection I felt but it wasnt painful just uncomfortable. The actually pulling of the tooth was horrible not a nice experience but at least it's over and it's out and done with :D

Bit sore today but nothing compare to how much pain I have had prior to the tooth being removed

Glad everything went well....going to the dentist makes me really anxious too, I think that's almost worse than the procedure!

You're a brave girl for staying awake through it! Hope you're feeling better!

I know what you mean I have white coat syndrome so Dr's, Dentists etc terrify me! I still can't believe I did it LOL.
