Sounds lovely Ginnym, any chance of a photo of your lovely view for us poor Southerners who have no snow

I've cheated a bit as this is from a couple of years ago but this is a view of Skiddaw from the house.

And this is a fantastic sun rise from the same window

And this is another of the reasons I love living here - this little guy was a regular visitor to my garden with 2 of his mates. Sadly I haven't seen them this year.

Yep! PJ bottoms and a t-shirt!

Ooh you lucky people! I've had a 'lovely' day with zillions of 'cat chores', the highlight being cleaning out the cat pens in the freezing cold :( wouldn't have minded so much if a snowflake or 20 had made an appearance, at least I could have built a mini snowman or even a snowcat! :D

Not long been in from work.. :(
Been busy today.. had to letter a van up, & some hi-vis work vests... design & print flyers, deal with loads of customers who want everything yesterday!...
Oh and a 21st birthday banner in 1 hour.. not bad eh :D
left at 5pm - collected kids from mum, got home only to find loving daughter has left the house a tip as usual before she flew out to work...
now im just about to start a huge pile of ironing with the 'help' of two bengals who seem hellbent on being ironed lol... oh the joys
and still no snow :(

I'm getting ready to say goodbye to my brother-n-law. He is going to Iraq for his 3rd time. He has 2 small kids (6 & 9) and a wife(my sister) he is leaving behind. Its going to be really hard this time cause he is going for a year and its the longest he has gone. :(

Rhiannon, my thought & prayers are with you and your family...
12 months is a long time for you.. but your brother inlaw is doing a fantastic job..

It takes a very special person to do what he is doing..
Before you know it he will be home and you will all be one big happy family again...

aww rhiannon, i hope you give him a fantastic goodbye party & everything goes well for him out there. even better, if they stopped this nonsense & brought all the troops back home to safety but unfortunately that's in an ideal world :?

Well I had a quite usual day at work...

Except that yestarday we learnt that one of the vets on the team killed somebody on sunday by accident  and is in prison for it (he had a pistol with no license)

It even made the headlines...

Doesn't change anything for me but I guess big boss is a bit at a loss !

What a week , and poor guy, that week before part of his house burnt on Xmas eve...
