So what's everyone up to today?

I am supposed to be doing a full tidy and taking down the Christmas tree and when I have done that I need to do water changes on our fish tank and lobster tank then tackle the mountain of ironing I have.

Moshi and Indy have been busy playing with Da Bird and they have had thier nails clipped, Moshi was really good but I had to wrap Indy in a towel as he was really protesting. Moshi decided to help with the tidying and knocked a glass of water all over the sofa worst of it was it smashed so had to keep Indy from investigating and clean it up quick before either of them hurt themselves.

Good news today, got an interview with an agency on Monday for a temporary 3 month job with Norwich Union so hopefully it will go well.

Hope everyone is having a good day, anyone got snow?

oh you busy bee! fingers crossed for the interview.

no snow here yet, they're only forecasting a couple of cms if any, so that suits me fine as long as it dissolves overnight & doesn't turn to ice on the ground by tomorrow lol

i love vespas! & lambrettas...there's a bit of mod in me i'm sure!

i certainly wouldn't fancy it in the snow tho, even my big snuggly parka wouldn't be protection enough.

I'm "working from home" today - haven't got much work done so far. Had one phone call with the big boss at Cumbria County Council this morning which Daisy insisted on interrupting in order to get her views heard :D

It's just started to snow quite heavily up here in Cumbria and its beginning to stick. I'm supposed to be travelling across the A66 to York tomorrow but might not make it - the A66 is not a place to be when there's snow on the ground!!!

I spoke too soon - it's stopped snowing and sun's come out, although the sky looks laden with more of the white stuff. It's times like this when I love living in Cumbria. I'm working in my attic with views of Skiddaw out of the front window and across the Solway to Scotland out of the back window. We might be miles from so-called civilisation but it's beautiful.

Sounds lovely Ginnym, any chance of a photo of your lovely view for us poor Southerners who have no snow

I've been ninja attacked by Moshi he literally used me as a spring board and I have four massive scratches up my arm I had to actually dress them until they stopped bleeding!!! Maybe 2 Bengals are enough

No snow here either. Being Canadian, I find winter very strange without snow :(

I'm having a very unproductive day  First I slept in, then made a coffee while the monsters inspected the kitchen (they don't have free reign in there yet as I need to replace a cupboard door). Right now, I'm listening to comedy on BBC7 (radio) using the "listen again" feature while cleaning out my computer.
Kitties are sleeping downstairs after a mad bubble session :D
