I rehomed Tazzi last June as my friend passed away. Tazzi is 6 almost 7 years old and I have noticed that she seems to be slightly incontinent recently, I've no idea what could be causing this as she's doing it in her sleep.. she loves sitting on a hot water bottle but I wonder if this has anything to do with why she maybe loses sense of a full bladder...

I'm taking her to the vet on Saturday to be checked.

She's such a beautiful girl...

Yes, first port of call the vet, perhaps take a sample of her urine with you it will save some time. If you can get her to pee in an empty litter tray so much the better, but you can get non-absorbable cat litter for this purpose. http://www.cat-world.com.au/collecting- ... from-a-cat

Hi Elaine

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately its really difficult to get a urine sample from Tazzi as she won't use the cat tray even if I lock her in. I'm not sure how the vet is going to get around this unless he keeps her in overnight?
