OK so I've been collecting GIF files for some time and finally figured how to post them. A GIF is an animated picture examples below.
I have so many funny ones related to cats and some good dog ones too. I'd love to share but the problem is they're not usually related to any topic or Bengals. I think a thread for GIFs would just seem too cluttered. Instead I'd like to just randomly put them in with my posts. I won't just post a GIF by itself unless its related to the topic only when I would normally post.

You can also ask me not post GIFs in your threads. Just ask me not to in this thread and I'll leave my random GIFs out of your threads.

This is just for fun n' smiles and to cool of heated topics

Thanks RabbitREW I'm assuming the vote is yours but most of what I have wouldn't be on topic just general funny cats or dogs. With the yes vote I wouldn't have many to post.

Unrelated PS- just saw pics of Max's new walking jacket...... She outdid herself again!

She posted pics of it in the HHC FB page. It's (the most recent pics) in the jackets section. "Max's hyking jacket". We just got back from kitty kamping and found the pics. (will post soon... )

Thanks jodonut99. I find comfort in your trust and kind words.

They are ok in general but, there can be times when an important post/message may get lost because you post a funny GIF and lost of people comment on that leaving an important post hidden. Not everyone reads all posts, i have learnt. They may lighten up a topic but the also can distract from a message being got across.

So i would say you must think before posting them in certain threads, is an important message going to get lost? Otherwise they are great. I have seen a fair few as they get sent through a lot of cat groups.

lollo2304 your absolutely right. Sometimes I post things to purposely distract from a thread were people have gotten off topic. Where people are arguing amongst them selves not about the topic. Almost to say settle down lets not fight and get back on topic. Really I don't have the right.

I would not like it if someone posted a funny GIF in a sticky or something I put so much work into like anything Kitty Kamping and it distracted from my hard work. I know you put a lot of work into your threads buy posting important links and going into details. There have been times were I've asked people to stay on topic.

I'm asking personally that members trust me and I plan on using discretion. I'd like to share what I have, my intention is not to draw attention away from other members threads just spread smiles.

If you'd like I won't post any in your threads.

I think they're funny & they do take the heat of a situation. Me personally I still read the important stuff but I guess some people will just stop at the funnies.
