Woke up this morning, pushed the boyfriend out of the bed and on his way to the shower he opened the bedroom door to let the cats in - they always come in for morning cuddles - normally they are shouting for us before the door is opened.
Anyway - door opens, no cats.
Pah, naughty cats, where's my cuddles I thought, so I called them - nothing, not a peep.
So I walked down stairs calling them, nothing so walked down again to the ground floor (kitchen/lounge), calling them, nothing. OMG I was scared that we'd been burgled and that the cats had run away but no, nothing!

I called again and suddenly heard a faint and pathetic meow, I ran up one flight of stairs, calling them to then hear more pathetic meow's and a tapping at one of the bedroom doors.
I tried to open the door but it was jammed shut - much pushing and I managed to open the door 4 inches, enough for the cats to both scramble over each other and squeeze out of the room - poor Evo, stood by me looking all sad and Nismo literally zoomed off downstairs, I could hear him pelting it across the wooden floor and clanging his way into his litter tray.

Much pushing of the door found that they had obviously got into the room during the night and climbed up onto a bookcase and had knocked down our snowboards which in a bag are propped up between the door and bookcase - this is what was stopping the door opening.

Poor little Nismo, he must have crossed his legs all night and how good was he to not pee and poo in the room?, wanted his litter tray.
Bless, much fuss afterwards to both cats and they settled down for an extra good breakfast for being such good kitties. The boyfriend however got shouted at for clearly not shutting the door properly allowing the cats to get into the room - tut tut!

Awwwww. Such good kitties! Watch out though.... If ours learn they have earned points for being good.... They usually find some fun mischief to get into knowing all will be forgiven. :D
