What kind of camera do you like? :)

I use an old Nikon 995, I just love the swivel body. I have taken over 2000 pictures with this camera.

We use a Sony F717, The built-in lense is massive(10x zoom), It's quite a handful of a camera to say the least!

I'm still learning something new everytime I use it.....It's great for action shots, Which is very useful for taking photos of Bengals traveling at the speed of sound up and down the stairs ;) .....But really I need a smaller more compact one for taking to the cat shows so I can just put it in a pocket for safe keeping.

I really want to start taking some local nightscapes and sunrise/sunset shots, So I can enlarge them and hang them on a wall at home and call them art!

Don't know where to start and don't really have the time at the moment tho.....maybe in the summer! B)

p.s Ours has the swivel body too.....Just great for taking shots from the back of a crowd, Makes the camera feel a bit more "Pro" too.....or maybe it just makes me look like I know what I'm doing with it!

I too like to use our Sony F717 (when I get the chance ;) ) but to be honest, I'm not exactly the most adventurous person with a camera and a bog-standard pocket-sized 3.? mega pixel would be more than enough.

I used it to take <a href='http://www.nordiquestar.co.uk/evvieframedgallery.htm' target='_blank'>Evvie's pics</a> and <a href='http://www.nordiquestar.co.uk/tallyframedgallery.htm' target='_blank'>Tally's pics</a> on our web site

We have 2 cameras - a Canon Ixus V, which is getting a bit tired now and suffers from really bad red eye, even though it is supposed to have red eye reduction!

And we have a Nikon Coolpix 5700, which is capable of some stunning shots, seems a bit hit and miss though, probably because we don't know what we are doing ;)

meemonkey - I have ordered 2 whirly-birds and I am hoping that wears them out. I keey forgetting to get batteries for my laser pointers.

Gavin - I use Kodak software for basic editing, trimming, red-eye. It is a free download and very easy to use.
I want one of those new D70s but am gagging on the price. I have had my 995 since they came out and I still have to read through the manual every once in awhile.

I love photography. I mainly take pictures of my Arab horses, they are good posers!! I have a canon EOS 300D with a 70 - 300mm lens. I'd love to do it as a job but, don't really know how to get started!! :?

Recently got a Sony alpha- 100. 10Megapixel Digital SLR. It's fantastic. I forget what camera I had before (another Sony)...it's hidden away in a cupboard and forgotten about now.

Hi there,
you will need to upload the photos to some other web server, something like www.flickr.com

Then you right-mouse click on the image and select "copy image location (that's for Firefox users).

In Internet Explorer - right-mouse click on the image and then select the bottom option that says "properties". Then there will be a line in the popup window that says "address" which is followed by the URL.

You highlight the URL and then press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy the URL.

Then go to the post in the Bengal forums, press Ctrl + V to insert the url of your picture.

The URL must be enclosed in this

Code:
[img]http://www.flickr.com/blabla/1234.jpg[/img]

Then it will be displayed as an image in here Wink

Try it...
