I am a massive true blood fan, and my dad got me a book token for my birthday. So I brought the first 2 Sookie Stackhouse novels, which I read in 2 days! (teacher- school holidays!!!) i think i may go to waterstones today and get the next two. The first two were very hard to put down! :D

I have just started reading "Take me home" by Tessa Cunningham. A true story of a lady who took her 95 year old father to live with her following an accident.

So far, it is looking very good.

I'm reading Stardust - Neil Gaiman and I have a few books arriving in the mail in the next few weeks, so will have more to add to my collection. I'm a complete book-a-holic.

I have to admit..... Lately I've let things hijack my leisure reading time. I am inspired again thanks to you guys. So....... I'm choosing my next book. At first thought I might re-read an old favorite but maybe I'll lurk here and get some ideas first. :D

Some interesting choices! Surprised Exoticatlover hasn't found this thread yet, clearly too busy reading Hardy! As instructed I have just started reading The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Attwood. I'm told its very good. :)

Have two on the go at the moment ... "The Penal Colony" - Richard Herley and "A Life Sold" - Ian Usher. Both grabbed as freebees on Kindle.

Loved the Handmaid's Tale also but loved Oryx and Crake even more (also by Margaret Atwood). If you like Oryx and Crake, be sure to follow it up with "After the Flood".

I just got "Stardust" after seeing it here. Hope to start it this weekend! :)

I read that for A level, very good but very deep for bedtime reading.

Just finished 50 shades, to understand what all the fuss was about. I can conclude that aside from being poorly written; I would beat Mr. Grey senseless!!

I found the thread... Hooray for literature

Well, I have just started reading 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury. After that I have 'The woman in white' by Wilkie Collins. It's apparently what spawned 'The woman in black'.

Has anyone read 'Anna Karenina'??

I'm reading the Game of Thrones series. On the first book at the moment and thoroughly enjoying it. Have also been watching the tv series at the same time and am enjoying that as much as the book too (which is unusual for me)
