Also! (sorry, I'm taking up this whole page lol) I bought Tigerlily from Mistymogwi... FANTASTIC people. They really look after their cats and take pride, everyone of them was their baby. Our bengal came from a woman who was very rich & the cats and kittens she bred & bred from all lived in a barn. He's been ill since having him with many problems & it breaks my heart thinking he was just a business to her. Yet the place we bought our girl (toyger) was amazing, they really love all of them... xx

I would with out a doubt 100% get a cat like that!!! That is a beautiful cat even as beautiful as a Bengal in its own way!!! See thats the type of cat that comes to mind when I think of a Toyger! He has a real look of a tiger and I dont see a strong resemblence of a Bengal !! Amazing find Lollo!!!! Beautiful I think I am in love!!! This is the cattery that you had suggested that is in the area correct? If so I would be making a pit stop without Sis and do some investigation but by the looks of that cat they are ahead of the game with the apperance!!! The ones I have seen have a greyish brown color with stripes this cat has the true colors of a Tiger!!! I cant wait to see what you find I am excited!!!

Just for information, the breeder, Eeyaa, in the USA, the founder of the Toyger breed, is the daughter of Jean Mill, the founder of the Bengal breed

That is very interesting to know! I didnt find that in my research I did however find an article from the breeder who started the breed and she said herself in the article that the breed is still far away from what she wants it to be ! She did compare them to bengals and how they looked in the begining and to how they look now , that is what she is trying to get out of the Toyger which she says that it was be many years before the Toyger is where she wants it to be!!! Just like the Bengals took decades of selective breeding to create our beautiful fur babies now!!

Gorgeous cats, I love the orange colour of their coats! I wanted a bengal and a toyger so we had our own little wild cats zoo but the OH wouldn't let me!! :(
