He's going to try and make me a "Lotus tree"



I'd asked him where I could find a curved plank to do it and he told me he'd understood the hidden meaning and was going to make me one (he loves working on wood and he's veeeery good !).

Just, I musn't be too impatient it's going to take some time (perhaps for Christmas ?).

I'll let you see the result asap .

There is a technique to bending wood, I forget now how it's done...

We're just getting started on ours which will be a bit more "traditional" but not as fuzzy as the store bought ones. We're hoping to keep the lines as clean as possible.

I have hinted to Alex that he could make one like that, but so far he has decided to ignore my comments.

Thats not a problem we have a house in the south of france and there are some good courier companies around. I have recently arranged for a memory foam mattress to be delivered to our house in france as you can't buy them there and it was very cheap to get it delivered.

I was only joking about your grandad making more for everyone..........can you imagine how busy he would become, no we shall wait to see yours and then be green with envy.
