hi everyone,

well with money being a bit tight, especially with unexpected vet fees for "madam's" tail, i can't get myself a really decent camera for a while.

i was given an old camera phone, but after buying a data cable i realised i could only transfer pics from the pc to the phone & not the other way round (how ridiculous!!), so i've abandoned that & decided to opt for a cheap digital to tide me over until i can afford a posh one.

i kept in mind the shutter lag comparison table, went down the list, checking on ebay for prices, & managed to find a casio elixim EX-S600 for a reasonable price. it's got 6.9 megapixels, sports mode among others & most importantly a shutter lag of around 1/2 a second which isn't too bad.

it also had a bundled kit with extra lithium battery & memory card.

so, just waiting for it to arrive now, then i will bombard you all with photos of my lot while i put up the decorations
i can't wait to take some pics of them as the ones i have are old now, & they develop so much in a short space of time...especially sugar, her markings have opened up so much since the last pics were taken!

Can't wait to see your pictures after you get your camera! :D That is strange that you can't copy pics from your phone to the computer!

I just bought a new camera too. A Canon EOS Rebel XTi. I am doing the reading on it so I know how to use it  ! It came as a bundle as well, with an additional lens (75-300mm), case, extra battery pack, uv haze filter and extra 2 gig memory card. Once I figure out how to use it, I am sure it will come in handy! Our Sony Cyber-shot is going back in for repairs. It only takes pictures when it wants to. At least the warranty hasn't run out on it yet!!

Take pictures as soon as you get your camera! I am excited to see your kitties! :D :D

Take care,
Carol
