Hello all. I'm in a college public speaking course and my professor mentioned a past student who gave a speech about Maine Coons. Well, then, I can't help but want to do one on Bengals.

I'm doing an informative speech, 5-7 minutes long. I plan to cover different markings (spotted + types of rosettes, and marbles + varying patterns), and the history of the breed for sure. I'll probably be covering general breed traits such as physical characteristics and temperament.

I was wondering if anyone had any other particular things which would be important to cover relating to Bengals.

Also, if anyone would like to volunteer some pictures of good breed examples for me to use, I would be grateful.

Have a look at the Breeding section of the forums, there is a sticky on Bengal genetics at the top of that section. It has some great info and images. Good luck with your speech.

You might want to personalize your speech by showing some pictures of your Bengal. I always hated those 5-7 minute things as it isn't much time to cover a topic.
