yeah, I am super slim, size 8 and 5'9 do not particularly eat fatty food either.. I mean I eat everything.. but pretty healthy with the odd times where we'l get pizzas and thai food... your know. Like the average person.

The polyp is likely to be made of the same stuff gallstones are.
It has been painful for me for months now, aww how are you able to put up with it.??? 3 years is an awful long time hun! I was getting so depressed because of it, you must be feeling pretty awful too!!?

I am scared of the surgery but they have said its usually a simple op, keyhole, and she said I should be able to eat normally after...

What are you going to do...??? has it got any worse over the years?xx

Aww sorry to hear about your job and the polyp Sam. My job's been under threat and that's been stressful enough, although luckily I now get to keep it (although on 20% less money). Hope you find something else soon until you can do your grooming business.

I can also sympathise with the abdo pain - I've had unexplained pain for 3 years now. Had lots of CTs and several endoscopies and laparoscopies. Don't be scared of surgery though - if it's the best thing for you, treat is as an opportunity to have someone look after you for a little while!!

can really sympathise with anyone working for local authorities with all the impending cuts etc. - exactly the same at my place of employment. I retired last year but am still working there on a relief contract which will shortly come to an end, but I really feel for all my colleagues who have absolutely no idea of whether they will still have a job or not in the next few months.

regarding gall bladder ops - if this is of any cheer, my husband (now 71)had his gall bladder removed by keyhole about 3 years ago. He'd been suffering pains etc on and off for several years - finally had it taken out as an emergency. He recovered really quickly and tho he has to be a bit careful with his diet, it's not really that restrictive. And he felt so much better for having had the op.

Sorry to hear about your job,Hope you fine work soon.
My mum had her gall bladder removed 3 yrs ago, she kept complaining I thought it was just tummy ach, she said it was like someone sticking a knife in her. I said its indigestion..... oopssss...
The following year I had the same problem and needed keyhole to remove my gall bladder.......pay back time :cry:

But was so glad to get rid of all the pain I was having, thought I had come to the end of the road.... but alls well and feel great
