Post subject: Thought for the Day
PostPosted: Wed Aug 01, 2007 1:01 pm
So Gavin said no-one looks at the Off-Topic page, and I thought I should do something about this!

In a revival of the recent Friday Funny exchange here is a little philosophical thought for you all to ponder on:

"There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast."

Anyone got any others?

"Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a great many different ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia."

"Dogs come when they are called; cats take a message and get back to you."

I look at all pages

"As every cat owner knows, nobody owns a cat."

Oscarsaurus,

I can definately relate! Moggie Cinder, Moggie Pixel and, my now friendly, latest addition, Bengal Fantasia!

And... I'm thinking about getting another Bengal retiree in a year or so! I think they make the purr-fect, spotacular pets!

So many lovely cats to love out there - hard to limit oneself to just a couple!

Dee :D

We have 5 cats

Oska (our Bengal) we ended up with because Harvey (our maine coon) was a handful and needed a friend the same age. We will end up with another Bengal (and maine coon :) ) but not until one of the older cats has had the full happy lives

"He who plays with a cat must bear its scratches."

(Hm, 2 new scratches this morning bringing it up to a total of 7, and a perforated pajama top thanks to body slam-climbing action to catch flying toy...)

Oh, and Mikesch tells me to add this one:

"In a cat's eye, all things belong to cats."

I would fully trust Mikesch to do that... *lol*

A dog thinks:
"Hey, those people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me.....They must be gods!"
A cat thinks:
"Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, me, and take good care of me..... I must be a god."

"Cats are smarter than dogs. You can't get eight cats to pull a sled through the snow." --Jeff Valdez
