Ideas anyone?

Hmm don't trust Google, real privacy issues with them. I use Firefox 3.5 just as fast as chrome...well on my rubbish connection anyway. But each to their own.

Dianne you can't just lose Firefox, have a look in the start menu, look for Mozilla Firefox. If it has gone you either have a teenage gremlin or a virus.

I assume your clicking on the desktop shortcut......It is possible that it no longer points at the program, worrying in itself. Go to start, all programs, and look for Mozilla Firefox. Point your cursor at it, and it should expand to show "Mozilla Firefox, and Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)" Try clicking on Mozilla Firefox and let me know what happens.
