Just wanted to tag in and say that i strongly agree with Lollo on this point. While i can completely understand that sometimes the rehoming thread results in some less than supportive responses, surely it would be better for that part of the forum to be strongly moderated rather than completely shut off? Thus stopping any information such as the point about Siamese being dangerous for babies worrying anyone who should stumble across it?
I posted in the rehoming section recently and notice that there isn't even any kind of message to inform you that people won't be able to reply to your post and can only PM, perhaps this would be an idea? I only mention it as i often don't actualy login to the site unless i am going to write a post as you can still view the whole forum. I often browse the site this way to see if i have received any replies rather than logging in and and therefore without knowing i will only receive PMs, may go quite a while without knowing that someone has responded. I doubt i am the only one who uses the site this way so people should be made aware of this?
