She's started a pattern over the past couple months, when I sit down to relax and watch TV for the night, she hops up and has a nice long nap HAHA!!

I captured all these shots with my point and shoot, since it was within arms reach, I could sneak the photos without waking her (although she did open her eyes for most of the pictures). However I placed my Canon EOS Rebel next to my recliner today, so I hope to add to this thread with some improved photo quality!

Feel free to add any pictures you have of your Bengal snoozing away on your lap!

You are very lucky neither of mine are lap cats neither was my previous boy before them.

Beautiful baby! Obviously, very comfortable being a lap cat. Raiden has started laying on his daddy's lap for an evening massage and head and neck scratchings. He won't come near me. The outside cat I take care of has started wanting to sit on my lap, but my lap isn't that big and he practically falls off.

I do consider myself pretty lucky, as I've read the Bengal breed aren't known for being a lap cats!

There's been a couple occasions where I fall asleep as well, and after waking up sometimes hours later, she is still there napping away HAHA!

Here is another from last night

Okay, Hies, NOT FAIR!!!     Bengals are not known for being lap cats but many bengals ARE lap cats. Depends on the cat. Obviously Hies' cats love to be on a lap! Lucky, lucky!!!

Haha this used to happen to me. I was cat sitting for a friend for almost a month and occasionally after our play sessions, I would get pretty tuckered out (also was working full time at the time). Sometimes I would just lie down on the carpeted ground (it was comfy lol) and just take a nap. And often I would wake up with Mia curled up taking a nap right on top of my chest or stomach LOL she was only a kitten though

I think she was just using me as a nice warm pad to sleep on hahah

And Xerxes- he's so cute!! And Hies- like you said "I always felt guilty for getting up" .

It's great to see that some more Bengal cat owners have lap cats haha!

Hise- you got the best pic with 3 Bengals on your lap at one time!!!

I have to agree about getting up also.. Sometimes she looks so comfy that I don't want to wake her haha!

I have a few more pics that I captured, I'll have to post them

I've been meaning to contribute to this thread! Now I will...

me having the flu + Older cats + cold temperatures = lap cats

It's really cool to see how much Serafina in particular has changed over the years. She has gone from this cat where our relationship was mostly defined by lots of crazy moments and play to one where now she seeks out affection multiple times a day. And she will even hunker down in my lap when the mood strikes her.

I can't say that Gaga is really a lap cat yet, but yet there she is in my lap (kind of a rare occurrance). She's a very sweet kitty though, and I think it's mostly that she feels relegated to 2nd or 3rd choice of sleeping locations most times.

It is great to see - they do tend to get more cuddly as the temperature drops. :-)

Brian - it is great to see that your two are slowly working out one of the best uses for a human - pre-heated snoozing spot.
