what it says on the tin... Ishka goes berserk for my leather chair. It's quite old so I don't mind it, it just makes me chuckle how demented she looks when she zooms on to her favourite spot and kills it dead

so, show me yours, I'm sure there are other leather chairs around being destroyed!

Actually, ours does not destroy leather. Thankfully!!! We have some new recliners and we have a folded sheet that lays on one of them and that's where Raiden falls asleep at night. Your baby is beautiful!

Ugh, my two have decimated the arm of my leather couch.
I've recently put a small scratching post next to it, which seems to have deterred them from using the couch, but the damage is done.
HORRORS

I bought a pair of leather sofas, an arm chair and footstool a couple of years before getting my little darlings.

Not great planning on my part.

I've done what I can to save it/keep it looking OK, but madame does love to use it as a launching pad for her interstellar journeys into the upper reaches of the hallway. The arm is somewhat "distressed".

We have a similar leather chair and thankfully the only leather furniture item in the house (apart from the bed frame, but she is not allowed in the bedroom).
She has completely destroyed it and won't really let anyone sit on it anymore. It's hers and that's the end of that

My darlings started with the leather bench at the foot of my bed which matches the end tables from which they have gnawed the corners off. Then they moved onto the leather sofa and foot stool in my living room. Now that I sit in the leather arm chair, they are poking holes in the arms. It seems like where ever I am, they mark with their nails and teeth all around me.

Mine have started on my faux leather computer chair and my leather head board well mainly Arya so you aren't alone I'm really thinking its a leather feel thing, they haven't started on the couches downstairs yet but I expect they will lmao. I'm thinking now that my girl Mina was just exceptionally well behaved she only liked scratching the wooden furniture outside oh and wallpaper I forgot the wallpaper, maybe not so well behaved

One of my cats leaps up walls and slides down with her nails engaged. She has had this hobby since she was a kitten. I think she likes the screeching noise she makes while doing it. Both my cats like to claw at the popcorn ceiling making a screeching sound. I'm sure if I had wallpaper, they would have ruined it.
