thanks a lot guys. I do consider myself lucky, especially as both little powerplants continue to behave very well :).

Absolutely stunning cats. How on earth do you let them out without a harness and leash? If I let Raiden outside, he is gone in a flash! There is no controlling him. He doesn't "come here" when I call him. He acts like he can't even hear me. I have a hard enough time WITH him on a leash! I love to watch the cats in action like that -- just will never happen with Raiden. The leash is in all of his outdoor pictures.

Thank you Sherry.
The porch is surrounded by a wall thats about 7 ft high and its top is actually wider than the main part. I took care of the only place they could potentially get out through so they're safe. I don't let them out of sight and they actually don't like me being out of their sight either. Even so, I'm well aware that the wall may not be enough to contain them when they're bigger so I'll have to take additional measures if I don't move house before that. Although sofar they haven't expressed any interest in the jumping at the wall whatsoever, they're just happy playing with each other.

The moggie I had before was like Raiden, he would roam free around the neighbourhood for hours. That's how he first came to me, by the way. But he'd always come back. I guess every cat is different.
