Hope you are all well. Me and Eddie thought of giving you a little update before Christmas.
Eddie is growing and developing to be one of the few lap cat Bengals and is very much of a mummy's boy.
It could be how he was since birth, genetics of his pedigree and his early socialisation together with us devoting and spending enormous time with him. I would definitely say just like with the orientals this breed of cats is very interactive, intelligent and amazing. They definitely need you to spend 110% of your time and will thrive by loads and loads of human interaction and play. Sleeping in the bed with us (definite bonding exercise), loads of treats, positive reinforcement, handling, playing, picking him up, stroking and cuddling him all the time and many more details have helped Eddie and us develop a wonderful, loving relationship. He is such a character. Don't get me wrong he is naughty from time to time but if you are prepared to spend your days together and do loads of training all your good deeds will be rewarded tenfold.

I would enjoy the lap time now, while you have it. Quasar was a lap kitten but certainly is not now, as a 3 1/2 year old.

I agree often they do grow out of lap time, magic sits on my lap once in a blue moon.
He will probably always sleep with you, that has never changed for us.

He is very handsome, love the pictures, his markings will get more prominent as he gets older.

I will definitely treasure every minute of his kittenhood and will be snapping away photos with my camera. Such a shame they grow so fast! Would be lovely if we had them as kittens for good few years (wishful thinking I know )

Just so you know ... bengals tend to be more kitten-like all their lives! Their level of energy never seems to dwindle. They just get bigger, that's all.

That's very true what Sherry says, Magic is 3 going on 4 and he is still just like a kitten, plays and acts like one, it's great.

Hello from Eddie and us xxx

It has been a while since we last posted on the forum. Too busy enjoying our time together and learning about almost everything.
We are just over six months now, 4.5 kgs and full of attitude, mischief, love and affection!

I adore this boy, he is such a gentle loving soul and very affectionate. The vocal range of communicating his love to us is amazing! Love the different chirps, sounds even the howling in front of the bathroom door! He doesn't like to loose sight of me hahahaha
He is totally a lap cat and needing our affection almost all the time. We play loads, cuddle loads, talk loads and generally spend all of the time together. This is when we are not at work.
I am a true believer in what you invest in the relationship that is what you get especially when they are so young. It is like having a little toddler. Wonderful.
