Oh Magic is so handsome!!! What a cutie pie. Does he claw your furniture? We are having a new piece delivered tomorrow -- leather -- and I know Raiden loves to sleep on the chairs we have now -- hoping he will not trash the new stuff for a few years. He doesn't normally scratch anything but his scratching posts.

I have plenty of scratching posts around, but Grace's new thing is to wrap her arms around my green leather foot rest and poke her nails into it. She was going to town on the cloth sofa this weekend too. They are overdue for a nail trim. This morning they were on a cat tower and I started clawing one of the sisal posts. The both grabbed a post and started mimicking me. It was so cute.

I am very lucky magic does not scratch any of my new furniture, he did claw the top of the old chair but since having the new stuff I have put a throw over the new chair, problem solved, he does have a very large cat tree which he sharpens his claws on and I have just bought him an extra large scratching post, about 4 foot high

I have the new furniture covered for the time being! I couldn't stand it if Raiden decided to claw it. I know he wouldn't intentionally, but he loves to zoom up and down his cat tree from one of the old recliners -- I didn't inspect it to see if it had holes in it, but definitely don't want him ruining a $2,000 piece of leather furniture. No trimming of his nails! We'll deal with it.

I do trim magics nails as they can get like needles, he's very good and let's me do this as I've always done it from when he was a kitten, he does charge round but luckily when he decides to charge up his cat tree it's from the kitchen table which I have a cloth on, usually the cloth ends up all over the floor and there are a couple of scratches on the table, that's what having a bengal is all about isn't it

It's all the wrapping paper he loves, we had to leave it all on the floor for about an hour, then he had his turkey dinner

I'd kiss mine, but he would wake up and start crying! I leave him alone and let him sleep as long as possible.

Bless him, why does he cry? Magic will roll over for a belly rub and chin tickle, then give me a kiss back and go back to sleep
