Luigi the mystery

Hi all! My husband and I were really interested in Bengal cats a few years back but weren't keen on the price tag so we opted for the $100 cats at the humane society. We were drawn to this beautiful friendly cat, Luigi who we've had for two years now. He is absolutely adorable and fits every description of a Bengal. Loves water, WILD, super clingy to me, very friendly to everybody but can be startled in a second. He also has a serious hunting instinct (we keep him inside) but he will "hunt" for us at least 4 times a day. It's pretty adorable. Anyway, I'm certain he's part Bengal but not sure which generation. Can anybody tell from photos? He's very long and muscular.

Luigi resembled a marbled bengal, but there are also marbled tabbies. You will never really know for sure, but he's quite the handsome boy. As for the generation of a bengal, one has to have a pedigree to trace back to the Asian Leopard cat.
