Well I tried to catch oscars glitter with the I phone. I think it's a poor attempt! His back just looks wet not glittery :rolleyes:

The bengal breed got its glitter trait from Tory/Toby of Dehli, an Egyptian Mau. Jean Mill bred the ALC with a domestic shorthaired tabby, which resulted in Roschach of Millwood (F1). Roschach was bred with Finally Found of Millwood (domestic shorthaired tabby) which resulted in Millwood Praline (F2) who was bred with Tory/Toby of Delhi to start the whole glitter generations. And this is where the heavy inbreeding started! And now you know the rest of the story!

Have you guys noticed that your Bengals don't really shed much? I noticed that my boy sheds only minimally in the summer. Especially compared to my Tabby, who sheds like crazy! I run my hand along his spine and I get a handful of fur. I barely get any from my Bengal.

Look at Oscar's glitter!!! I notice in the winter time, Raiden's is not as prevalent. Maybe it's the lack of sunshine or it's the extra layer of fur he gets. Raiden only sheds in the spring. The medium-haired stray cat that was hanging around my house was shedding like crazy.

Beautiful! Lilith has glitter but Phaedra doesn't. I will try get a photo of Lilith's glitter. It's weird Lilith's coat is so super soft and silky but Phaedra's isn't. I mean hers is soft but never as silky as Lilith's. She also doesn't have glitter.
