Hard to tell the size of the gel caps, but they do have different sizes. The pills I've gotten for cats are pretty tiny! And most are colored, so I can easily find them on the white carpet or the floor when the kitty spits them out! And there was one type of pill that was fish flavored even which I put in the food bowl with fishy canned food and that cat lapped it all up. My bengal does not like fish!
