The baby foxes are adorable! I don't think we have them in Florida. There are plenty of raccoons, possums and squirrels though! Raccoons and possums can be aggressive towards cats. Squirrels just like to tease them.

Raiden has tried to go after some raccoons on our afternoon walks when the babies like to come out. He wants to chase them and the raccoons disappear through the woods. In Florida, I used to hand feed a raccoon. I was young and foolish and then it bit my finger to take a bite of the cracker! Learned my lesson! Raiden also likes to chase squirrels and brought a baby squirrel in the house one day that had wandered into his enclosure. Took me forever to try and wiggle that little guy back out the door to freedom! But, I guess it's better than the mice Raiden used to bring me.

I am against fox hunting, that they seem to want to bring back, but also the problems of people feeding foxes.
My brothers old cat, they think, was taken by foxes that neighbours feed, she was too old to run or jump.
I have also had trouble with the hunt dogs jumping the hedge and chasing Jaz and Gin up the garden, I shouted at the hunt
but they didn't take much notice. They used to terrify my goats when I had them just racing past the bottom of the garden.
As I now have chickens I don't want foxes visiting but also do not think hunting them is a sport.

It's difficult to not want to help feed wildlife. Sounds like you live in a really rural area. Chickens are a prime target for so many animals. I live in a subdivision at the very south end of a Nashville, TN. But the woods behind us have never been developed. When that happens, I don't know where the animals will go. We have a creek near by that affords them water, so they really have no place they need to go. The woods are full of rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, foxes, deer. I hope there's enough food for all of them.

The cat tree is temporarily in this room but will be moved to the living room where the walls are lighter blue!

There's nothing wrong with having more than one cat tree! This one looks like it has a lot of areas to lounge and play. I bought three simple ones for Raiden, and uses all three of them.
