Hello Oscar! Melissa, looks like a big bed and a big kitty. How much does Oscar weigh? And how is the swimming pool thing coming along?

It's called a monstrous snuggle bed from pets at home. Oscar thinks it is heaven! It feels so soft like a mink coat. Hendrix and Jagger had one and Claire realised very soon she had to buy two! I wish they did them for humans! Oscar is long and lean and weighs just under 6kg so I think very similar to Raiden. I love Raiden's intense stare in the above photo. Is that 'the look' he gives to neighbouring cats when out on his walk?! :lol:

Regarding the pool, I bought a £35 set of steps and he has completely ignored the pool, does not look at it or show any interest.......typical!

Raiden does have an intimidating gaze. He looks very content and confident in this photo. Grace has that wild kitty look too. She surprises me when she shows me her soft side and let's me pet her. Lately she comes around and meows asking me to pet or brush her. I love how they are still changing every week.

Raiden is a camera ham! Plus, he's super photogenic! LOL. Melissa, I'm glad to here there have been no problems with Oscar and the pool. Raiden has a hooded, heated bed that is super soft and he will sleep in when it's cold out. I unplug it and he won't touch it in the summer. What bothers me is the cats get the softer, more cuddly beds! I'd love to curl up and sleep in Oscar's bed myself.

Raiden is a super confident cat. Unfortunately, he walked over a yellow jacket's nest on our walk this afternoon and they attacked him. He was crying, scratching, washing. Our walk ended at that point. He appears to be fine. My husband has mowed over that nest twice and was attacked both times. Now that we've found it, we've sprayed it. I was just over there last night and nothing happened. Maybe they don't like me! Told Raiden our walk was over (after like 3 minutes). He wasn't happy, but we'll try again in the morning.
