Emily, he's climbing up on your clothes? LOL. I'm sure once you discover the rips and snags, you won't be so happy to watch him up there. Luca is such a character!

Oh my goodness lol that's quite comical. Ya we don't let him in the closest anymore. It's always closed now...I was worried about ripping and just got tired of putting everything back on the hanger again lol.

You know now that you've denied him access to your closet, Emily, that's exactly where he will want to be! He was just so cute way up there on the shelf! LOL

Emily, Luca is spectacular. I think he wants to be gymnast! LOL. And I swear it looks like it's doing it all for the camera! That little attention-getter! I hope he's doing better with the diarrhea. Thanks for keeping us updated on him. You can tell he's an F1. So many ALC characteristics! And he's getting so big!

he certainly has personality. yes he has got so much bigger in the past month with him. he was under4 pounds when i got him and now is over 5 pounds. but still is very much in kitten packaging, quite small in person still. i think he appears a lot bigger in pictures and videos than he really is

yep, he can't definitely find a way to entertain himself in any situation so far.for example, climbing the curtains Now that he is big enough i have him in his harness today.no leash yet. just to let him get used to it then hopefully in the next couple days i can take him outside

Oh Emily, can't wait to hear how he loves his walks. Just from the videos I've watched, it doesn't appear he will be a problem in getting used to his leash! He is going to have a ball outdoors! Hopefully, you have a short leash. I use only 10' on Raiden and sometimes I feel that's too far away from me. I try to keep up within just a couple feet of him, but when walking up and down slopes, I have to be careful because I'm a klutz and, like Jack and Jill, I have problems going up and down hills.

he was doing so well on the harness today that i put the leash on him too and he was fine with it. then i took him out on our balcony and he was very enthusiastic so i decided to give the real deal a try and take him outside later on in the day. at first he was very curious, walking up to everything to sniff and tried climbing every tree and bush. However, i think all the excitement caught up to him and the gravity of the situation set in."IM OUTSIDE!" i swear is what he was saying when he started meowing. he got a little overwhelmed and ended up curling up on my lap and making him self very small and then didn't move or make a sound for the remainder of the time outside while i sat and pet him to try to sooth him. both adorable and heartbreaking at the same time.i was thankful that he didn't flip out at least or try to run off. he must have been really scared too, because when it was time to go back inside i wanted to put him in his carrier(because we have to go back into the building and up an elevator and i didn't want to risk losing control of him) and he refused to go in. he tried to nuzzle back into my lap so i had to carry him against me chest to get him inside. he didn't put up a fight at all even though he usually doesn't care for being picked up.poor little guy. I posted a few pictures of the experience to the photo bucket page.

Emily, those pictures are so adorable. Of course he's going to be a little scared in the beginning. It's a whole new, big, wide world out there that he's never seen before. A million smells await him. This is so typical for a first time walk with a kitten. He'll get more confident as time goes by. It's great he took to the harness immediately. Luca is just super beautiful! I know in the beginning of my walks with Raiden, we didn't leave our yard. Now he walks a couple of blocks to the park and will take a side street as well. Raiden has to stop and sniff every single thing. I don't get much exercise at all with him. Congratulations on your first walk with Luca.

Yep! Ill just have to keep taking him out until he gets used to it!
